April 2017:  The U.S. Navy informed Simulations of a new three-year contract to be awarded to develop additional lightweight materials and components in support of their Hypervelocity Projectile (HVP) program.  This program shall be focused on replacing steel and titanium aero structural components with composites.  The contract is expected to be awarded in May-June 2017.

October 2016: Simulations has been subcontracted by Polymer Technology, Inc., to design, engineer, and perform finite element structural analysis modeling for the U.S. ARMY Medium Caliber 50mm ALAS-MC Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot Traced (APFSDS-T, or AP) Cartridge.  This is in direct support of the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Center (RDECOM) Advanced Lethality and Accuracy System for Medium Caliber (ALAS-MC), to be launched via the Enhanced Bushmaster III.

August 2016: Principal Engineer James E. Abitabilo joined Simulations full-time.  He brings to the team his seasoned career experience in electro-mechanical design, and prototyping and production manufacturing.

November 2015: Simulations relocates to a new facility in East Granby Connecticut, allowing the addition of a complete composite research and development lab to their facility.

October 2015
: Simulations was awarded a two-year contract via SOSSEC, with the option for three years, in support of the Navy Hyper Velocity Projectile (HVP).  This contract is a follow-on effort to further advanced Simulations proprietary lightweight composite sabot "Omega Tactical Sabot" OTS for smooth-bore and rifled guns.  Simulations, LLC developed customized fiber architecture to provide hypervelocity launch packages with lightweight composite sabots.

March 2015:
Simulations launched their full-scale composite sabots in the Navy's Mk 45 5" Bore Naval Gun.

August 2014:
Simulations completed the design and fabrication of sixty wireless alarm systems used on fire engines. These wireless alarms attach to fire hoses in the bed of fire trucks, and sound an alarm to notify operators if the hoses accidentally deploy during transit to/from a call.

June 2013:
Simulations launched a series of composite test specimens in the Navy's Railgun to characterize specimen material.

May 2013:
Simulations completed the first-generation design of a patent pending floating vessel vacuum system to dredge and retrieve golf balls in ponds and lakes on golf courses.

April 2012: U.S. Navy NAVSEA launched in their EM Railgun at Dahlgren composite sabots which are recognized as the Navys' first composite sabot; designed and manufactured by Simulations, LLC 


April 2017: Simulations was down-selected for a US Navy Award to develop HyperVelocity lightweight munitions.

October 2016: Simulations is contracted to design lightweight 50mm launch packages for the US Army.

September 2015: Simulations is contracted by the US Navy to continue development of lightweight HyperVelocity munitions.

December 2015: Simulations has been contracted to perform all structural analyses for a new complicated custom 30 Ton custom marine transport trailer.

May 2014: Simulations, LLC was contracted to continue developing the Navy's composite sabot for its HyperVelocity Projectile (HVP) program, to include the design, fabrication and testing of lightweight Advanced Sabot System Designs for the Navy Electromagnetic railgun and Mk 45 5" conventional gun systems at Dahlgren, VA.

October 2013: Simulations was awarded a Phase 1A contractor with The Raytheon Company to conceptualize, size and design composite sabots for the Navy's HVP program.

April 2013: Simulations was contracted to design, develop and manufacture sixty prototype Wireless Hose Alerts devices to alarm fire engine operators if hoses have accidently deployed while in transit to/from a call.

January 2013: Simulations was contracted by WaterDog Golf, LLC to design, develop and fabricate a first-generation patent pending golf ball vacuum system to retrieve golf balls from ponds and lakes.
